The Best Yoga in NYC

I spent last week in NYC and had an opportunity to try out a bunch of different places for yoga. Jivamukti in Union Square and on the Upper East Side was far and away my favorite yoga studio.

Why I liked Jivamukti:

• The Studio felt like a Community
• Sanskrit Message
• Sanskrit Chanting
• Instructors Provided Helpful Adjustments
• Block and Blankets Available in Class
• Incredibly Challenge Class

I will be sure to go back to Jivamukti whan I am in NYC again.

It also does not hurt that they have instructors like Purnima:

Rothbury Music Festival - Namaste

I got the opportunity to attend the inaugural Rothbury Festival in Rothbury, MI this past weekend. WHAT AN AMAZING EXPERIENCE ! ! !

The weather was glorious, the music was fantastic, the yoga was spiritual, and the people were gracious and incredibly socially conscious.

Bravo to the promoters of the event. A+

One of my favorite parts of the event was the outdoor yoga with 100's of hippees under the sun.
